"It's no secret that we invest in strengthening the brand outside of Romania as well, and America was a natural first option. This is due to the opportunities there, but also to the fact that, when it comes to customers from Europe, we can more efficiently ensure the local presence of specialists from the headquarters in Romania" said Sebastian Doroftei, CEO of Codezilla. "If the assumed objectives are achieved, next year we will initiate the opening of other international offices".
The Romanian software development company Codezilla announces its global expansion initiative by opening an office in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
With over two decades of experience and a team of more than 120 skilled programmers, most of Codezilla’s services are already delivered to international customers - from Europe and America. As part of the 2023 development strategy, it has been decided to open an office in the USA, to facilitate local communication with clients and grow the business at a faster pace.
The development services will be provided with the help of the teams from the offices in Bucharest and Iași. At this time, there are only support teams in the US.
The USA Team
All of the company's efforts in the United States will be managed by John Hitchins, who joined the Codezilla team this month as Business Growth Manager.
John comes with over 25 years of experience in coordinating IT projects and with a strategic mind working on the specs of the American market. The natural alignment with Codezilla's values, as well as the development strategy it already implements from its Chicago headquarters, make this partnership a very valuable one for the company, whose goals are bold ones.
Codezilla in Figures
After announcing the expansion of its portfolio of services and the growth of turnover by more than 40% compared to the previous year, Codezilla's revenues in the first four months of 2023 exceeded the results of the same period last year.
Expectations for 2023 numbers are higher, with 25% growth expected from Chicago projects alone, but also local growth at least similar to previous years.
